Applications of chemometrics to the development of innovative analytical methodologies in the food, environmental and pharmaceutical fields

Scholarship ex D.M. 351/2022 Research PNRR

Abstract

The project is aimed at developing chemometric methods applied to analytical problems such as:

1) the non-alteration of the samples, in order to be able to carry out rapid and in-situ measurements directly on the sample as is, or online in the case of chemical processes. Reflectance spectrophotometry and headspace gas chromatography are then applied.

2) The quantification of analytes starting from multivariate datasets and the multivariate classification of samples to study their traceability, using instrumental analytical techniques (Chromatographies, FFF, analytical spectroscopies, electroanalytical techniques).

3) The resolution of the matrix effect.
