European funding EIC Transition

Two spin-offs of the Department, SINBIOSYS and Bionys, receive the prestigious European EIC Transition funding.

SINBIOSYS S.r.l., a spin-off of the Department co-founded by Paola Ceroni and Marco Villa, has received the prestigious European EIC Transition grant to support the ELISET - Emission Lifetimes technology for sorting, Security and Traceability - project.

The funding will accelerate further development and validation of the technology, facilitating the transfer of research results for application in applied and pre-industrial contexts.

Bionys S.r.l., a spin-off of the Department co-founded by Luca Prodi, has received the prestigious European EIC Transition grant to support the SEPtech – The game-changing solution for fighting sepsis project.

The funding will accelerate the further development and validation of the technology developed within the previous Pathfinder ECLipse project (coordinated by our Department), promoting the transfer of research results and its application for the early diagnosis of sepsis.
